We suggest that you have some basic information regarding cars and vehicles before you go to car auctions, especially government car auctions because you are probably even more likely to pick up a bargain at vehicle at these auctions. Although these auctions are generally rarer than normal car auctions, they can be the most beneficial in terms of obtaining a car for low cost, or for obtaining cars for selling on if you deal in vehicles.

We suggest that you take someone with you who has some in depth knowledge, preferably a family member or a close friend who you can trust. This way you will feel more confident knowing you have the back up of some good old car knowledge. Nothing will serve you better at car auctions than someone who knows a lot about cars. This will help you close a killer deal.

Bidding

When you bid for a car, be sure you are interested in the car and have test drove the vehicle you are thinking of purchasing. Set a mark you are willing to bid too, and don’t overstretch your budget, this will end up going to far, and will result in possible income loss if not thought out correctly.

Remember, if you are going to car auctions to either pick a bargain deal on a car, or, to trade. You need to think logically and way up the expense against potential income from the car being sold. If expense outweighs potential income, forget about bidding, and forget about being caught up bidding in wars. This will be a painful experience, and give you unwanted stress, especially on the bank balance!

Payment and check Out

Once you have won the car at the government car auction, we suggest you pay for the vehicle in full. This way you can take the car home the same day. We advise that you have the full balance no later than one day, or you will lose the auction, and the car will be put for re bidding for other members of the government car auction.
